CL Experiment Continues….

Day 3:

I’m no longer tied to Craig’s List as my confidence builder, which is a good thing since men obviously have such short attention spans they can’t look past the first page of ads.You guessed it, no new responses!Luckily I get busy with work and don’t have time to be on email for the rest of the day.

Day 4:

The staleness has set in…I do get one humorous response and since he must have had to look through 3 pages to get to my ad, I reward him for his perserverance with a reply.We exchange a few quips and then phone numbers, things are looking up…there may actually be a face-to-face meeting in the near future.

The rest of the day is a bust, so I follow the advice of a friend and repost later in the day with a new title and new picture.We’ll see what tomorrow brings….

Day 5:

Wow, I’m the “shizzle” again and only about 20 of the respondees don’t remember that they’ve already replied to my previous posting.As I read through the repetitive responses, I have to wonder about the ADD these men must have…..It’s so obvious this is a numbers game for them, but is it that hard to notice the details?

This leads me into another observation through the week, if you are trying to attract the opposite sex, are these really the BEST pictures you have of yourself?I’ve never seen so many blurry, from a distance or just plain unflattering pictures in my life.Especially for those of you who want a “better” picture of me, maybe you should invest a little time with a good friend to get a “better” picture of yourself.I’m only saying this to be helpful, not shallow.
